illustration • comics • inkAce Kontogiorgas aka Nihidea is an illustrator and designer creating detailed tattoo designs in ink and digital comic and manga illustrations. Some of their favourite subjects are the vastness of space, maritime creatures and of course mushrooms. Their work often explores themes of the dark and macabre, with its own playful twist.Black and white or not, Nihidea‘s art is always colourful, always queer, always just a little different.
Convention Artist
Nihidea has been tabling at comic, Anime & Manga conventions in central europe since 2017. Based in Germany, they have also been part of the artist alley on conventions in Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.With a focus on their ink art, which is available on T-Shirts and totebags as well as prints, stickers and bookmarks, they also offer a variety of pride merch as buttons, pins and stickers and some select fanart creations.More recently they have also included Stationery, Washi tapes and a small selection of jewellery on their artist table.

Nihidea is available for commission and freelance work.You can get your own custom tattoo design in my distinctive dotwork style, or you can purchase a tattoo ticket if you've taken a liking to one of my existing designs.I am also open for character, portrait and concept art commissions. Nihitober 2023
In October 2023 I created my own prompt list for inktober, which I titled Nihitober, not only in reference to my name but also because the prompts center around themes of nothingness, absence, gaps and holes--summed up as nihil, the latin word for nothing.
In this challenge I wanted to go back to the darker, more macabre and horror-esque aspects of my art which hadn't been a focal point in a while. I created 31 artworks in 31 days, both in traditional ink media and digital, all kept in a colour scheme of black, white and red. These artworks have since been collected in the Nihitober artbook, strictly limited to 31 copies, signed and numbered.
And of course Nihitober is returning in 2024! Keep an eye on my social media to stay up to date!
At conventions and in my online shops I offer a variety of products of my own design!
Next to originals and prints of my artworks, I have also created several artbooks to showcase my work throughout the years. A selection of my original tattoo and ink artworks are also available as T-Shirts and tote bags.
My "Mythical Pride" line is a variety of pride merch that can be found as pins, buttons, stickers and prints.
I also have a small range of notebooks, note pads and washi tape for all your stationery needs, featuring some of my favourite themes: mushrooms, space and marine animals!
Finally there are a lot of stickers and charms to be discovered among my products, ranging from original ink and dotwork art, over relatable memes, puns, and mushroom friends, to some fanart creations.I'm also always happy to create commissions, tattoo designs and con hon entries at conventions, according to your individual wishes!
